Katana Zero

Forcing players to watch cutscenes is abuse. It's bad enough having to wait for boring exposition and idle animations to pass, but when the devs make you sit there and read this garbage against your will, it's a total middle finger to anybody who holds a job.

A lot of work went into the coding, artwork, and music for Katana Zero. It could have been a great game if 75% of the time wasn't spent on reading trite dialogue. Stages take half a minute to complete, and each section is interrupted by replays and talkboxes. Is this just a feeble attempt at making the experience seem longer than it is? Or do they actually hate the gaming industry and rather be working as screenwriters instead?

The soundtrack overachieves, so just buy it on bandcamp and skip the game since you can't skip the cutscenes. I would have made the mashup longer if I had more visual material to work with, but capturing Katana Zero was total agony.
