Zombie Army Trilogy

If you like Sniper Elite but want a more action-oriented take on tactical shooting, look no further than Zombie Army Trilogy. It's combo of additional content from the first two games plus a new third chapter for veterans of the series.

The sleek interface and controls is what drew me in. No fumbling around with unnecessary upgrades, tech trees, or unwanted accessories. You got 9 snipers to choose from, 6 secondaries (mostly SMGs or a shotgun), 6 pistols, and a handful of items like dynamite, grenades, and traps. And because the loadout is relatively limited, the game feels fast paced and balanced i.e. I never came across a weapon or technique that was OP and prone to exploitation.

The first two episode were a blast. In the third episode NPCs began talking and I had to figure out where to go next. This is when I bailed. I hope the 4th installement doesn't fall down this trap. Overall, a solid shooter.
